Biographical
Sister Christine was 40 years old when she responded to Father Daems' invitation to leave Racine and return to Bay Settlement. Through her selfless dedication, she cared for many sick and poor individuals. Father Daems appointed her as Superior of the Sisters, a role she cherished for 10 years. She was also a close friend and supporter of Father Daems. Sister Christine had a passionate calling to live out the Gospel—to know, love, and emulate Jesus. She passed away on March 29, 1900.
