Biographical
Sister Mary Immaculata, one of the founding members of the Community, was a caring presence for Sisters Pauline, Christine, and Pius as she looked after her elderly father. She shared her faith by teaching catechism to Dutch children in their native language and lent a hand at the rectory. In her later years, she struggled with mental confusion caused by the flu and was hospitalized from 1891 until her passing on March 5, 1921.
