John Francis Noll, Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters, Bishop
Person
Biographical
The congregation grew with help from Indiana priest John Francis Noll and his publication, Our Sunday Visitor. Noll, who later became a bishop and archbishop, founded the paper in Huntington, Indiana. His generosity led to the building of the Central House of OLVM in 1925, named Victory Noll, combining Our Lady of Victory and Bishop Noll. While John Joseph Sigstein founded the congregation, OLVM's growth was largely thanks to Noll.
