Biographical

Joseph O’Reilly, also known as Eliza, was born in Cavan County, Ireland, on March 19, 1940, when she was 24 years old. She had three BVM sisters—Francis, Xavier, and Veronica—and was part of the first group to travel to Philadelphia. Gifted in English, she even created a rhyming catechism. Eliza passed away on May 7, 1987.
