Biographical
Gertrude Regan, also known as Eliza, entered Philadelphia from Philadelphia on September 24, 1941, at the age of 15. She was the second person to enter from Philadelphia. At age 19, she opened the Potosi (Wisconsin) mission and served as the directress of St. Joseph Academy on the prairie. She was an assistant to Mother Clarke, the third novice mistress, and the second Mother. She was one of the subjects of this book and passed away on June 2, 1919.
