The painting depicts a convent with orange/red-tiled roofs and a central bell tower. There appears to be ivy growing on the convent and lush, green bushes surrounding it. A landscaped courtyard in the foreground features pathways around a statue of the Virgin Mary. It is signed “Ruth Hoffman” in the lower right corner.
