Benediction Golden Cope - Grand Pris in Paris Winner, bulk: 1890s
Scope and Contents
This Benediction cope won the Grand Pris in Paris in 1900. After it was placed on the market it was purchased by the Ruppert Family (Sister M. Francis Rose) and donated to the Sisters of the Holy Cross.

1 Artifacts : Heavy, golden weaved and red sewn quilted cope with images of saints, planets, Mother Mary, Joan of Arc, and other catholic images. The cope is soiled at the base and worn around the collar. The fasteners are styled with hook to fasten each side to the other with a gold chain (attached).
