Chapters, Living Conversations with the Sisters Collection
Scope and Contents
The Chapters oral history project focuses on Catholic women religious in order to safeguard the legacies of sisters in their own words. This initiative records lived experiences, vocation discernment, and vital ministries, bridging generational gaps by actively involving students and community members as interviewers. By capturing these memories, this project ensures the stories of women religious—who have often been the "silent majority" in church and social history—are permanently available for academic research, future generations, and the broader public record.
