Scope and Contents
Silent color motion-picture footage documenting a social gathering at Victory Noll, the motherhouse of the Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters in Huntington, Indiana. The film shows Victory Noll sisters in religious habit visiting with children, family members, and other guests on the grounds; individuals and family groups posing for the camera; and a large group assembled outside a brick building. A Catholic bishop and other clergy appear with the sisters and guests in several scenes. Later footage shows informal visiting at outdoor tables and additional scenes of the bishop outdoors and near an automobile. The film provides views of the Victory Noll grounds, religious dress, clergy, families, and community social life.
