Scope and Contents

This folder contains documents related to Fandel, Sr. Cecilia's efforts to develop vocations for Hispanic women during 1986-1987, including proposals and program materials. It also includes records from her involvement with the Howard Area Community Center from 1987 to 2011, such as event planning and community outreach activities. Additionally, the folder holds materials from her participation in the Crop Walk and Hunger Walks, as well as documentation of her advocacy for a Nuclear Free Zone in Ladysmith. Records pertaining to her work with Housing with Network are included, along with reports and reflections from the Third World Conference held in Cuernavaca, Mexico, in 1985. The folder also contains her study materials from her Spanish language studies in Mexico in 1998.
