Scope and Contents
The Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross Collection contains the archive and records of the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross since 1912 arrival in the United States from Ingenbohl, Switzerland, and their ministries in the U.S.
Special Interests include: atechetical outreach (CCD) to the black community in southern Louisiana and the small parishes in northern Wisconsin, religious education teacher training, nursing education, pastoral care, prison ministry, parish ministry, dementia support, administrative support services, volunteering in ministry with people living in poverty, anti-human trafficking efforts, and a community food pantry.
