Scope and Contents
The Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross are a community of Catholic Franciscan women religious based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Their lives in community are rooted in the Cross, the Word, and the Eucharist. Guided by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, they respond compassionately to the needs of our times through prayer, presence, and hospitality.
The sisters serve as parish leaders, Catholic educators, health caregivers, campus ministers, artists, advocates for minority communities and the environment, social workers, literacy counselors, retreat directors, missionaries, and administrators. Their collection of materials reflects their history, missions, and vision for the world.
