Sister Mary Irene Drummond was one of the 5 founders of the Sisters, Servants of Mary in Ladysmith. She arrived in Ladysmith September 19, 1912. She left the community in 1919 to join the congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dubuque, Iowa.
